Chainsaws, Crazy Inmates and Scary Clowns at Elitch Garden's Fright Fest!!
Spooky Season continues for us as we visited Elitch Garden's "Fright Fest"! We first visited this scary haunted event in 2019, so this year we decided to return to find out if the chills remain!! Sadly, this year didn't live up to our last experience, although we really enjoyed the new "Lock Up: No Escape House. The "Terrortories" needed a few more scare actors to make them more enjoyable and Big Top Freaks was just ok this time, although there we extenuating circumstances that may have clouded our judgment. If you're looking to not only visit some haunted house, but also ride amusement rides, then this event is for you! Please be aware there is an additional charge for the houses o n top of your admission to the park..
A family-fun experience at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park
Growing up visiting Elitch's Gardens was always a big summer treat. Now that my son is 5 year old, I couldn't wait for him to experience one of my favorite spots as a kid. On the way to the park, he talked endlessly about the Ferris Wheel (which was also enjoyed) but with a little nudge he bucked up for the Blazin’ Buckaroo roller coaster. The other major highlight for him: Shipwreck Falls where Everett loved both riding and standing in the soak zone for a monster wave.
