Flavors on the Avenue, an outdoor street festival showcasing South Philadelphia’s finest culinary offerings, live entertainment, 100+ craft vendors, sidewalk sales, fun-filled, family-oriented activities, and much more, will be held on Sunday, April 30, from 11 am to 5 pm. It is an all-ages free event from Broad Street to Dickinson Street.

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID), home to more than 160 independently owned businesses in South Philadelphia, is a premier destination for standout, unforgettable meals, and cocktails for both locals and visitors alike, thanks to its diverse array of acclaimed food and beverage proprietors including Gabriella’s Vietnam,Ember & Ash, Perla,River Twice,Townsend EPX,Laurel, In The Valley (ITV), and Ocho Rios Parrilla. Folks dining and imbibing on East Passyunk Avenue have an extensive selection of distinct culinary finds and experiences, many of which are atypical above traditional dinners and drinks.

While bands are playing multi-night concert runs leading up to Halloween, River Twice is getting in the holiday spirit and doing a four-night run of their own, hosting four nights of ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ dinners from Thursday, October 27th, through Sunday, October 30th at the restaurant located at 1601 E. Passyunk Ave in South Philly.

Nineteen Eleven BYOB, the newish restaurant from chefs Jon Raffa and Michael Gingras, located at 1911 East Passyunk Avenue, has debuted a new summer menu, added Sunday brunch, and collaborated with Chef Janine Bruno on a new pasta with a charitable initiative and a nod to a Philadelphia legend.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Townsend EPX, the award-winning French restaurant and bar on East Passyunk Avenue helmed by Chef Townsend Wentz, launches a bountiful brunch menu with elevated, French-focused takes on traditional breakfast and lunch classics including Eggs Benedict, Broiled Oysters Royale, and ‘Steak & Eggs’, plus sensational daytime sippers – kicking off on Sunday, May 8 at 10:30 am.

The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District, home to more than 160 independently-owned businesses in South Philadelphia, is hosting its second year of the bountiful “Garden Days” celebration, a verdant three-week themed series of events ahead of the Philadelphia Flower Show at nearby FDR Park in South Philadelphia. Garden Days begin on Saturday, May 7 and runs through Memorial Day, Monday, May 30.

The Dutch, the popular breakfast and lunch eatery with a focus on reinventing the Pennsylvania Dutch classics, has made the move from Pennsport to East Passyunk Avenue with its new location officially open for service, boasting a robust brunch menu with dinner service and a full bar program to come by mid-March.
