Summer SNAP program receives record $2.8M in funding

Virginia will extend emergency SNAP benefits through April 2022
People throughout the commonwealth can expect to continue receiving their emergency SNAP benefits throughout April 2022. The agency that governs this benefit, the Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS), made this announcement exactly one week before April 16, 2022, which is the date benefits are loaded onto SNAP benefit holders' cards.
