Woman Learns That Her Stomach Produces Alcohol After Getting Charged with a DUI
The 35-year-old New Yorker was on her way home in 2014 when a police officer abruptly pulled her over. When the officer assessed the woman's blood alcohol level, he was surprised to discover that it was at 0.33, more than four times the permitted driving limit. He had spotted her weaving around in the road with a flat tire. Given that those levels were getting close to what is regarded as extremely life threatening.

Denver program works to divert homeless from jail

Drunk Pilot Removed From Cockpit of a JetBlue Flight to Fort Lauderdale – He Was Four Times the Legal Alcohol Limit
A pilot for JetBlue was removed from the cockpit of a plane on March 2 after TSA agents suspected he was drunk while passing through airport security on his way to board. The pilot - James Clifton, 52, of Orlando - was due to fly the aircraft and its passengers from Buffalo to Fort Lauderdale. After removing him from the plane, local police administered a Breathalyzer test and registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.17% - four times the legal limit.
