The writers have softened the blow by making "Jex" starcrossed lovers the world is against. Recently fans of the couple sent them a cake at the GH studio that was big enough for the entire cast to eat and McCoy and Heller were overwhelmed by the gesture of love from those who watch the ABC soap.
