Versailles Cuban Restaurant
A craving for oxtail led us back to Versailles, a Cuban restaurant serving oxtail stew "rabo encendido." Here's the description of this dish from their website. "A Creole based stew with a sharp peppery taste cooked with traditional Cuban herbs and spices, olive oil, and bell peppers." YUM! We also ordered the famous Versailles garlic chicken, tamales and empanadas.
Oxtail stew at Versailles Cuban Restaurant
Here at Versailles Cuban Restaurant on Ventura Boulevard in Encino for some delicious traditional Cuban food. I had my favorite rabo encendido or oxtail stew plus rice, beans and plantains. Husband had lengua and Josh had the famous Versailles garlic chicken. The sodas were Cuban too, jupina and malta.
