As part of a recent tour to Costa Rica, I visited Tortuguero National Park, a must see destination for any traveler to this beautiful country. Tortuguero, named after the famed sea turtles that nest there, is a 47,000 acre park located on the eastern Caribbean side of the country. The remote park is primarily known for the sea turtles that nest on its beaches, but also contains a vast rainforest, rivers, mangroves, and a huge variety of wildlife. In fact, there are eleven different habitats within the park.

Costa Rica is an excellent choice. This stunning Central American country has become a popular destination for couples seeking a unique and romantic wedding experience. With its breathtaking beaches, lush rainforests, and rich cultural heritage, you get a wide range of wedding venues in Costa Rica that cater to different tastes and preferences.

Pura Vida! It’s the unofficial motto of the country of Costa Rica, as I learned from a recent trip. You will hear this greeting from everyone, which basically means ‘Pure Life’. It's also used by locals as a greeting or expression, simply meaning that life is short, so be grateful for what you have. Tiny Costa Rica, surrounded on both sides by water, and covered with forest in between, is a nature lovers paradise, and the country's inhabitants, known as Ticos, are grateful for these treasures. This Central American country is well known for its eco tourism, beautiful national parks and abundant wildlife.

Pocho (1950s - 2011) was a crocodile from Costa Rica. In 1989, Chito a fisherman and a tour guide found the crocodile emaciated and dying from a gun shot wound to the head. The crocodile was found on the banks of a river.

The case, primarily investigated by the IRS Criminal Investigation division, involves a scam that Butler and his co-conspirators operated between January 2011 and October 2016.

After being on the run for 43 days, fleeing murder charges, Kaitlin Armstrong has been arrested in Costa Rica, U.S. Marshals announced in a statement released Thursday. A joint effort between the Marshals, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Department of State Diplomatic Security Service found Armstrong in a hostel on Saint Teresa Beach in Provincia de Puntarenas, the statement says.
