(Forsyth County, GA) The Cumming City Center continues to come to life with more businesses and restaurants officially opening their doors. Despite the rain, boutique Pieces and Peaches and the English “chippy” Wright’s Fish and Chips both held ribbon-cutting ceremonies on Thursday, April 27.

(Forsyth County, GA) It’s finally happening. After the months-long wait, Forsyth County residents can grab a meal at the City Center with friends and family. The first restaurant to open was the Tin Cup Grill with an invitation-only soft opening on Friday, April 14. Its grand opening was Wednesday, April 19 with dinner service in the Club area. For now, it will be open nightly from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Lunch service may begin in the coming weeks; check the Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.

(Forsyth County, GA) If you’ve been waiting for businesses at the City Center to finally open their doors, there’s more good news for you this weekend. Avenue of the Oaks and the Lily Rose Co. Marketplace are both hosting grand opening events on Saturday, April 15.

City officials announced on Friday, December 16 that Roswell’s popular taqueria, sports bar, and live music venue Rock ‘N’ Taco is adding a second location at the Cumming City Center.

With large crowds in attendance on Friday and Saturday, the success of both events bodes well for the future of the City Center, even though the businesses, shops, and restaurants still haven’t fully opened.
