Chef Ellard seeks out a fine dining experience in close proximity to Mount Rushmore National Park. The Mount Rushmore Brewing Company in Custer is about 1/2 hour away, and as Chef Ellard discovers, the food and service are fabulous. On the way Chef stops at the Crazy Horse Monument then proceeds to the Restaurant named Pounding Fathers. The meal is on point and Chef recommends visitors to Mount Rushmore check out the Rushmore Brewing Company if they want an elevated meal as opposed to mediocre tourist food.

A Large Man's First Time in a Tiny House
Chef Ellard stays for the first time in a proper tiny house in Northeast Portland. He is pleasantly surprised by how much he loves it. This tiny home was found through Air BNB and is so well equipped that it makes even a large mammal like Ellard feel comfortable. The Tiny House Movement is about living minimally, more affordably, with less stuff, using less energy and having less of an ecological footprint. And it can be a lot less stressful than having a larger home to maintain. In the first part of this episode, Ellard and Bailey join their friends Superman (his actual name) and Ron with first mate Gregory and Captain Kenny. They encounter an Oceanic White tip Shark and catch a skipjack tuna (aku) for live bait but end up making sashimi out of it.
