[VIDEO] Car catches fire while being transported by flatbed on Route 8 in Shelton, CT.
SHELTON, CT - At approximately 12:45pm on March 8, 2023, the Shelton Fire Department was dispatched to Route 8 NB in the area of the 14 entrance ramp for a car on fire that was being transported by a flatbed. The fire was quickly knocked down, there were no reported injuries, and the highway was never required to be shut down for operations.

Firefighters in Sacramento extinguished fires in a Tesla Model S battery compartment using 6,000 gallons of water. On a road in California on Saturday afternoon, a Tesla Model S "spontaneously" caught fire, according to officials.
Cross Bronx Fiery Crash Victim Identified as NJ Woman
BRONX - Police have identified the driver who died in the fiery crash on the Cross Bronx Expressway which was dramatically captured by Citizens App. After rear ending a tractor trailer, the driver waited in her SUV. Then a second big rig slammed into her car, causing the fatal fireball, while she waited in her car following what could have been a minor accident.

SHELTON, CT - Just before 12:00 noon on November 24, 2022, the Shelton Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on Route 8 SB approaching Exit 11. First companies on scene found a fully involved vehicle in the right hand lane. Firefighting foam was used due to the difficulty in suppression from a ruptured gas tank. Route 8 SB from Exit 12 to 11 was shut down to Thanksgiving Day traffic for an extended period due to the incident.
Hopkins County Fire Causes Vehicle Damage
Winnsboro, TX- Just before midnight on Sunday, August 28, 2022, a 911 call came into Hopkins county for a vehicle on fire. When firefighters arrived on the scene at a storage facility on Highway 11, the 2005 Ford Escape on fire had already been put out by a neighbor.

Multiple RV's Catch Fire - Millions in Damages
This multiple RV fire happened in California. There was over a million dollars in damages. It was said to have started in the engine bay and spread to multiple RV's. I personally have never seen our brave fire fighters at work, it was very interesting.
