Clay County officials are hosting a “Touch a Truck: What Moves Clay” event on Saturday, Aug. 26. Families are encouraged to attend. The event is free. “This twist on our free event will bring together everyone and everything that moves Clay - from county departments and services to nonprofits, public safety, county agencies and more,” a county press release said.

An 18-year-old Orange Park man was arrested Friday for selling child pornography, deputies say. The investigation into Omar Ayman Mohamed Abdelhady, 18, began when an FBI employee discovered he was involved in the online exploitation of children. Abdelhady was 17-years-old at the time, according to the arrest warrant.
Florida man poses as 14-year-old on social media app; arrested for raping child
A Florida man was transported from Duval County Thursday and is being held in Clay County Jail on a $100,003 bond for raping a 13-year-old girl, deputies say. Ricardo Servin, 20, of Jacksonville posed as a 14-year-old named “Richi” on the app “Wizz” to connect with the child victim.

An Orange Park woman was arrested Monday and faces charges of dealing in stolen property, deputies say. A female victim called the Clay County Sheriff’s Office on June 5 to report her 1985 Pontiac Firebird as stolen, according to the arrest report. An investigation into the case revealed that Mazie Casciani, 30, of Orange Park was likely responsible for the theft, deputies said.
