Brandin Cooks To Cowboys? Cowboys Trade Rumors Around The Houston Texans WR
Cowboys trade rumors are heating up around Brandin Cooks following a report from Jordan Schultz that the Cowboys were among the teams that called the Houston Texans about a possible trade for the WR. The Texans, per Mike Fisher of Sports Illustrated, aren’t trading Cooks. However, if they were to trade him, they would want a 2nd round pick. That might be too much for Stephen Jones to give up, but there does appear to be some interest there. #NFL

Brandin Cooks is a prime NFL trade candidate as he’s entering the final year of his contract with the Houston Texans. With the Bears still needing help at wide receiver, could GM Ryan Poles trade for Cooks? Bears’ QB Justin Fields would certainly enjoy having a veteran WR like Cooks who’s had six 1,000 yard seasons in the last 7 years. Brandin Cooks is seemingly one of the most underrated football players and definitely wideouts of this current era. He quietly added on another 1,000 yard season; being his sixth in his eight year career. I personally believe he deserves an opportunity on a true contender but until then I definitely appreciate his professionalism and greatness.
