If you live in the East Bay, you know that no matter where you go, Mount Diablo is always just kind of there. At 3,800+ feet, the iconic East Bay mountain is massive and imposing enough that you feel its presence on a daily basis. It’s there in the background when I’m driving on 680, lounging by a friend’s pool, or picking up my son at his outdoor preschool.

Hello everyone and welcome to Ellie adventures! For today’s Vlog, we went to an Infiniti dealership in San Jose, CA where they hosted their first car meet. We did a short tour inside and checked out the cars in the showroom. They had free coffee and pastries for the car meet. A variety of different cars were present as we walked around the dealership’s lot. Overall, it was a good turn out and opportunity to check out the dealership. Cheesecake is one of the most favourite desserts in the United States, and the New York style cheesecake possibly one of the most famous of all because of its dense, smooth and rich texture. That was until the Basque cheesecake from San Sebastian’s La Viña Restaurant in Spain, became Bay Area's most popular cheesecake, surpassing in popularity all time favourites such as the New York or Japanese cheesecake.

A 2022 online survey conducted by Charles Schwab, the leading provider of financial services, has revealed interesting data about Bay Area residents on what they consider to be wealthy for those living in this blessed but very expensive part of the country.

Nearly everyone had heard by now—inflation worldwide is at its highest level in decades, with inflation over 8% reported in May of 2022. Here in the Bay Area, where is inflation hitting the hardest?

For today’s video Jack, Lilly and I went down to the Aqua Hotel in Marin in hopes of getting some stingray and leopard sharks. I arrived at about 5:30am and began to set up our rods with some squid bait I got at the local Safeway. Jack and Lilly joined me at around 6 and we cast our rods into the water almost immediately.

Hi Guys! Welcome to Ellie Adventures! For today's Vlog, we went on a scenic drive to the top of Mount Hamilton where Lick Observatory resides. The Lick Observatory is owned and run by the University of California. Since 1888, this establishment has been a school of astronomy as it teaches about research, technology, and history. There was a presentation about one of the largest telescopes used to study the stars throughout the galaxy. Overall, this is an intriguing place to learn about astronomy and see the Bay Area from an amazing view up top.
