County library giving out meals to students during spring break

Baltimore partners with Lyft for free rides to and from work for newly employed

The "Let's Ride to Work" program, in partnership with ride-share provider Lyft, offers up to 40 rides during the first four weeks of employment per each eligible resident.
Flower Mart is back at Walters Art Museum
Flower Mart, Baltimore's oldest free public festival, will take place this year April 29-30 from noon to 4 p.m. at Mount Vernon Place. Founded in 1911, it started as a way to advocate for greener living spaces in Baltimore City. DC restaurant opens new location at Mall of Columbia
Chicken + Whiskey, a Washington D.C.-based restaurant, opened its second location at the Mall of Columbia. The restaurant's chef, culinary director Enrique Limardo, formerly worked at Baltimore's Alma Cocina Latina in Station North. Limardo now partners with Des Reilly, owner of The Walrus Oyster and Ale House, next to Chicken + Whiskey, according to Baltimore Magazine.
