A Neat Little Piece of Camping Gear
Sometimes, it is cool when you are out camping to set up a nostalgic mood. For that, I use this UCO Tea Light Lantern. This little wonder is really fun to take on backpacking trips because it is so light and does not take up a lot of space in my pack. I also found citronella tea lights that work perfectly in the lantern. It is very each to change out the tea light candle and is a lot of fun to use. A Very Handy Outdoor Gadget to Have
This little outdoor pump. The Giga Pump 2.0 has some amazing uses. It will not only inflate or deflate several types of air mattresses, kids toys, etc, it is also useful to stoke a campfire if you have wet wood. It has a 10-hour battery life, weighs next to nothing, and has an included light. Very handy indeed. If you want to pick one of these up. Firebox Nano Titanium Backpacking Stove
Purchased this little multi-fuel stove for backpacking and camping a while ago and have really enjoyed trying it out. I like the fact that I can use varying types of fuel from Bio-Mass to Alcohol to Esbit cubes. This means that even if you forget your fuel at home you do not have to worry about not being able to eat while on your trip. I also like the fact that it is lightweight and there are two types for the budget-conscious. One is titanium which is pictured in the video, but they also have a stainless steel model which is significantly cheaper. So in this video, I am merely demonstrating the various ways to use it. I think this is a great addition to any backpack and would trust this stove to work on any backcountry trip. Firebox Stoves are known for their quality and they are made in America. Testing the Platypus Quickdraw water filter.
Today we’re going to look at the quickdraw water filter from platypus. This my first look at the quickdraw filter from platypus. I opted for the filter and reservoir combo which cost me $48 dollars US. On the outside of the box, you’ll see a couple of claims that we’ll need to test. Claim one is that the that the filter weighs 3.3 oz and claim two is that it can filter 3 litters of water a minute.
