We Found Crystals On This Florida Dirt Road
Though not many areas in Florida have crystals, there are definitely some to be found! In this particular location, fill material from limestone mines is used on dirt roads for erosion prevention. The chert rock that is dug up in these mines sometimes has voids where crystals will grow! This is mainly in the form of micro crystalline druzy quartz crystals, but some of the pieces we find actually have visible crystal points! Some of the pieces even have some agate banding. We also find cool fossil shells and sea urchin fossils at this location. Along with the awesome finds we also just had a bunch of fun. Hope you enjoy!

Torreya State Park, Bristol Florida, Florida State Park
Bristol is located about 45 minutes west of Tallahassee. It's a beautiful state park with a historic 1840's home on it. You can tour the home but when we were there back in April of 2021 the tour was closed. But we see that they have re-opened the tour. This park is also used by people training for the Appalachian Trail because of its hills! Watch our adventure here and follow us for more fun! This Town Was Founded in 1860... Let's Find The Treasure They Left Behind
In this video, I teamed up with my Dad to go exploring for new antique bottle sites in Georgia! Exploring for new places to find treasure is always so fun because you just never know what you're going to get. Either you'll find nothing and it will be a learning experience, or you'll come upon a brand new site with a lot of potential! At the beginning of this day, I had my doubts about what we would find. But we kept at it and followed the trail of older glass until we finally ended up finding a place where we could do some digging! We found some bottles that I have not found before to add to the collection and saw all kinds of promising stuff. Can't wait to go back!
Florida Fossil Shark Tooth Hunting | WHY is There MORE TRASH Than FOSSILS in the Creek?
In this video my buddy Rob came down to Florida all the way from Michigan and we met up for some fossil hunting! I wanted to take him to find some fossil shark teeth since they are not found up in Michigan. So we went to a small creek that I have had good luck in before, but unfortunately the creek is FULL of trash. We had a couple of trash bags with us and were sure to fill them before leaving. We found some awesome fossil shark teeth and the creek is very beautiful aside from the trash. The hope is that if we can get out and clean up a little bit every time we are out there, maybe one day we'll put a dent in it!
We Found GLOWING STONES on the Beaches of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula!
This is day 2 of a video I posted a while back searching for fluorescent sodalite on the beaches of Lake Superior! These are syenite rocks with sodalite in them - a mineral that glows bright orange under a 365 nanometer UV light. I can tell you with confidence there isn't many things more exciting than shining the UV light on the beach at night and seeing that fiery orange glow staring back at you! I could never get tired of seeing that!
We Found Buried Treasures in This Old Dump Full of Vintage and Antique Bottles and Relics
WE'RE LOOKING FOR BURIED TREASURE! Okay, maybe not quite "buried treasure" but trash from around 100 years ago that is now treasure to us! Haha! This video was filmed a while back, and was actually one of my first bottle digging experiences! I had always walked creeks up until this point, and this day day got me absolutely hooked on digging for bottles!
