Tommy Tuberville and Other GOP Senators Want Answers from Joe Biden on Botched Afghanistan Withdrawal
U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) joined Senators Rick Scott (R - FL), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Thom Tillis (R-NC), Mike Braun (R-IN), Josh Hawley (R-MO), and John Hoeven (R-ND) to introduce legislation to establish a bipartisan, bicameral Joint Select Committee on Afghanistan to demand answers from the Biden administration to questions surrounding the deadly withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan in 2021.

Our thoughts are with Ms.Nabizada's family during this difficult time as they mourn an unexpected loss far too soon.

The World Bank has suspended four projects totaling $600 million in Afghanistan, the BBC reported on Wednesday, due to the Taliban's ban on girls returning to secondary schools. The projects were focused on improving education, health, and agriculture.

Journalists Kidnaped by the Taliban Have Been Released
Ex-BBC correspondent Andrew North and other Afghan reporters have been released after being detained by the TalibanExpress. On the 11th of February at around 7 AM, the Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has posted a tweet in which he mentioned that nine citizens of the western countries have been kidnapped. One of which is actually a well-known journalist, Andrew North who was a correspondent for the BBC.
