Green Cove Springs public library to undergo construction project

The Green Cove Springs Library will be closed Monday, Aug. 21 through Wednesday, Nov. 1 for a construction project in the building, county officials announced.

“Our plan is to continue to provide programs and activities at different locations while the construction is ongoing, and we’ll keep our community updated as those details become available,” a county press release said. “We appreciate our residents' patience as we upgrade our building for our community.”

There are four additional public libraries in Clay County. They will remain open and fully operating.

  • Fleming Island Library: 1895 Town Center Blvd., Fleming Island
  • Keystone Heights Library: 175 Oriole St., Keystone Heights
  • Middleburg-Clay Hill Library: 2245 Aster Ave., Middleburg
  • Orange Park library: 2054 Plainfield Ave., Orange Park
