The Orange Park Mall is celebrating the spring season with the arrival of the Easter Bunny and various family-friendly events.
The Easter Bunny will be at the mall beginning Friday, March 24 through Saturday, April 8 for guests to interact and take photos with.
Local children and families can “hop into spring” with the “Cute as a Bunny Hop'' on Saturday, March 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Orange Park Mall Marketing Director Catharine Wells said. The event is free and children will have the opportunity to explore their creativity through a dance party with characters from Encanto, an Easter Egg hunt and an Easter-themed craft, Wells said.
Orange Park Mall will also host “Sensitive Bunny” on Sunday, March 26 from 10 a.m to 11:30 a.m. During Sensitive Bunny, those with sensory sensitivities will have the chance to meet and greet the Easter Bunny in a quieter, less crowded setting. The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) will also be on hand with information and special activities for families.
Guests looking for a way to celebrate the Easter season with their four-legged friends can attend “Besties and Bunny,” Wells said. During this experience for guests and their pets, the Easter Bunny will be available for animal-friendly photos. “Besties and Bunny” is scheduled for Monday, March 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Guests are asked to keep their pets on a leash or in a carrier at all times.
“We are excited to once again celebrate the Easter season through colorful events that make the Orange Park Mall blossom with a sense of community,” Orange Park Mall’s General Manager Randy Bowman said. “We are committed to providing ways for guests to engage, connect and explore year-round, and look forward to welcoming families to experience spring through visits with the Easter Bunny, interactive crafts and more.”
“Orange Park Mall’s upcoming lineup of spring events represents its ongoing dedication to providing guests and their families with thoughtful ways to savor moments and create lasting memories together,” a spokesperson for the mall said. “The mall remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We ask all guests to conduct themselves in a safe and respectful way in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations, recommendations and mandates, as well as each individual retailer’s policies.”
The Orange Park Mall will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. Restaurant and theater hours may vary. Click here to be taken to the mall’s webpage for more information.
