Fugitive Friday: $3,000 cash reward for information leading to arrest, sheriff says

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community for help in another “Fugitive Friday” case.

This week’s fugitive is Donald Devon Watkins, 33, of Jacksonville. Those with information on his whereabouts are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $3,000, if the information leads to an arrest.

Watkins’ charges are for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, without the intent to kill, the Sheriff’s Office Facebook post says.

His last known address is in the Jacksonville area. For those with information on Watkins’ whereabouts, Sheriff Michelle Cook said to call 904-264-6512.

Those with information who wish to remain anonymous can submit a SaferWatch tip or contact First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845 TIPS (8477) and be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $3,000 if the information given in the tip leads to an arrest, Cook said.
