Like most other bus services, residents can pick up a Clay CommunityTransportation (CCT) shuttle from several different stops throughout Clay County to get where they need to go, Public Information Officer Laura Christmas said.

“All of the fees for all of the routes are being waived this month,” Christmas said. “CCT is a part of Jacksonville Transportation Authority so the ride initiative is through that organization.”

The shuttle has routes through Fleming Island, Gainesville, Green Cove Springs, Keystone Heights, Middleburg, Orange Park and Penney Farms.

Additionally, a “CCT Flex” option is available for those who need a ride, but are not located near a stop. Flex services allow for passenger deviation pick-ups and drop-offs, as long as time is available in the schedule for locations that are as far as ¾ of a mile off the Flex Route.

The fee for a Flex option deviation is $1 per pick-up, per rider.

The Blue Line, Green Line, Red Line and Magenta Line are Clay Community Transportation Flex Routes available to residents. Click here to view their specific route destinations and schedules.

To get started with a Flex Route, residents can call and speak with a reservationist at 904-284-5977 to schedule a convenient pickup location.
