A man from Hollywood, Florida goes into his bathroom to find an unsettling situation. A hissing iguana with its mouth open is inside his toilet bowl and acting aggressively. The iguana eventually escapes but the mental image will haunt him for some time, reminding him to always check his toilet before sitting down.
One Florida man will definitely be checking his toilet bowl before sitting down from now on after an iguana in his bathroom startles him.
Florida Man Finds a Hissing Surprise in His Toilet
News 6 WKMG reported that John Riddle of Hollywood, Florida noticed "the bathroom door off of his pool deck was open" on Friday, 19 May 2023. When John went to close the door, he discovered the iguana "bathing in the toilet."
He said:
“That’s when it turned around and opened its mouth, and that’s all I needed to see to, like, back off for a minute and figure out what was going on.” -John Riddle, Hollywood resident
John monitored the situation and the iguana climbed out of the toilet on its own "about an hour later" and took a dip in his pool before eventually "running into the backyard" for an escape.
