Exploring Theodore Roosevelt Island in Washington, DC
A quick trip out to Theodore Roosevelt Island, which is located in the middle of the Potomac River! Just a stone's throw from Washington, DC (literally), Theodore Roosevelt Island is one of the most unique monuments or memorials to a former United States President in the DC area. There are miles of walking trails on the small island, including marsh and wet lands. The video also explores Memorial Plaza, the area of the 88.5-acre island dedicated to the memory of the nation's 26th president, Theodore Roosevelt. This was my first time on the island, but it definitely will not be my last visit there.
