(VIDEO) Crystal Cove State Park Beach & Travel Guide
A guide for visiting Crystal Cove State Park in Newport Beach California. Everything you need to know if you're planning a visit to Crystal Cove. We’ll explore the Historic District, The beach, The hiking/biking path above the beach, the campgrounds, and a look at my favorite backcountry hike, and yes… we’ll eat at the famous Crystal Cove Shake Shack as well! Crystal Cove State Park is one of the largest remaining examples of open space and natural coastline in Orange County California. Crystal Cove features 3.2 miles of beach, in a nearly 4,000 park including hiking, biking, and equestrian trails. Located between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, this is my favorite State Park in California. The park also features the federally listed Historic District, an enclave of 46 vintage rustic coastal cottages originally built as a seaside colony in the 1930’s & 40’s.
Fun, informative, and entertaining travel guides hosted by Chris Raney. I got started making online travel videos in 2004 to share with friends and family, but shortly thereafter I took to YouTube in 2008. I spend hours every week researching & shooting informative videos to allow curious travelers to make informed decisions about where to go, where to stay, what to eat, and what to do in a destination. My goal is to be as DETAILED and INFORMATIVE as possible while still being FUN! I’m a resident and native of Southern California, but I can often be seen traveling the world and reviewing hotels with my panda buddy & co-star “Topher.” He is the other half of my name, Chris + Topher = Christopher.
