Gary Sanchez's pinch hit homer backs Cole's 8-inning effort in Yankees 3-2 win

Gary Sanchez and Gerrit Cole lead the Yankees to a tight 3-2 win. Down 2-1 in the 7th, @ElGarySanchez crushed a pinch-hit, go-ahead two-run BOMB to left field for his 10th homer of the year. He’s now hitting .228/.331/.456 (.787 OPS) with 10 HR and a 118 wRC+. Cole pitched well despite not racking up a lot of K’s, allowing two runs over eight innings.
