In 2021 Tristyn Bailey was just 13 years old when she was stabbed 114 times by the then 14-year-old Aiden Fucci following an argument. The body of the cheerleader who attended Patriot Oaks Academy was discovered in a wooded area outside Jacksonville, Florida.

According to reports, she had been so viciously stabbed that the handle of the knife that was used broke: "A Florida teen will be tried as an adult after he allegedly killed a girl, stabbing her 114 times in an attack so vicious that the blade broke and got stuck in the victim's head."

The knife used in the horrific murder was later retrieved from a pond near the victim's body.

Tristyn's parents reported their daughter was missing when she did not return home back in May 2020. A massive search involving the police, her family, and her classmates resulted in the discovery of her body.

It is said that the two teens had an altercation after leaving a mutual friend's home which resulted in the fatal stabbing. While he was being considered a suspect, the teen is said to have taken a picture of himself flashing the peace sign while riding in the back of a police car as this excerpt explains: "While he was still considered a witness, Fucci snapped a photo of himself in the back of a police vehicle flashing a peace sign and posted the image to social media with the caption: "Hey guys has inybody seen Tristyn lately."

The teen was later indicted of first-degree murder and tried as an adult. He was sentenced to life in prison.
