They have a large selection of products. I think they got like a hundred style/flavors of potato chips alone. I like coming here to get all my seasonings, including sesame paste, oyster sauce, soy sauce, etc. They are great for seasonings and ingredients for braising as they are cheaper than normal grocery stores. If you're planning on house parties, this is a must place to stop by to fill up your pantries.

With the Corvid shutdown and my son’s 2nd Birthday celebration outside of our home severely hampered, I reached out to Seattle Balloon decorations and his Family for help and they made it happen! They spent ample time communicating with me to arrange for a delivery day and time during the Memorial Day Weekend. The Balloons were super fun and a huge surprise to my kid! This is the second time that I have ordered from them and the communication and product longevity have been excellent. I recommend it as this place will demo the latex balloons so u can make sure the colors are right when it’s blown up. Any kids would love having such an awesome balloon decoration, I'm sure. Awesome people who will help make your special occasion a memorable one.

My husband and I came here because we wanted to have some Chinese food and sit down in Pike Place Market for a meal. We were just wandering around Pike Place Market, we passed by this restaurant a few times. So we decided to give it a try. From the outside, it looks small but it has a bunch of seating booths for dining in with a full menu offering a mixture of traditional Chinese and American dishes.
Read full storyLeon did an awesome job on all the projects I had around my house.
Leon was fantastic to work with. Responsive, fast-working, and incredibly friendly. Great for small jobs like home repairs, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and troubleshooting problems. We found out about Leon through the building where we've been renting, because he used to do maintenance there. We contacted him and several competitors to get quotes on some minor work for our new kitchen. We chose him because of his recommendations, his great communication, flexibility, and his rates. The prices he offered were very affordable. Both workers who came for our work were very professional and honest and I appreciate the hard work they put in. They also saved us some money by showing us that some of the issues we thought were major issues, could be resolved by ourselves. I highly recommend them and will use them for future projects.

This is the spot in Seattle for vintage and vintage reproduction dresses, jewelry, accessories, shoes, and more in an adorable girly-girl setting. They have all sizes and not just the random size 0 that you tend to find at some other vintage stores. Adore the decor. The prices are not too steep as well.

Came here with my partner for dinner to check it out. I made a reservation a couple of days in advance, and they don't do online reservations, just by phone so call any day after 4 o clock to try and make reservations. The interior was quaint, cozy, and had a certain charm to it. We ordered a chirashi bowl, nigiri, and show roll. Really impressed with their sushi. We loved the show roll, definitely good for someone who likes fried goodness with eel sauce. The nigiri was amazing, so beautifully presented, and tasted amazing as well. We also had a cocktail and a really good okonomiyaki omelet. I was impressed with the quality of the food, and I think it's worth it for the price point.

I had the absolute best experience here. Lovely small store - sales & repairs - downtown Seattle. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I needed a repair done to a gold necklace that is very special to me, & I didn't want to take any chances with it. The nice owner fixed it while I waited, including a new clasp, which he refused to charge me for. For those of us who work downtown & try to avoid the tourist traps & big-box-type stores, Crane Jewelers is a treasure, providing personal service in a beautiful & convenient setting. Not only do they do repairs they sell amazing, unique pieces. Thank you so much for helping me.

A full-time fun blast is happening in Pike Place Market. Seattle Theatresports is back to full seating and excitement. People are lined up at the concession (where you smell the fresh buttered popcorn) and over at the bar they are serving icy, inexpensive drinks. Everyone is here to laugh. As you enter the theater, you feel the beat of the music. BAM! This is Theatresports. A panel of judges picks which team is the funniest.
Read full storyThe PlayDate is great. It's a safe indoor space for kids to get energy out.
My kids were super bored at home during the pandemic. I was pleasantly surprised to see that PlayDate was open. Since I went on a Sunday, I found free street parking a block away. Inside masks were optional for fully vaccinated people but required for kids over 5. It’s a fun place for kids to run around and be themselves. There are big climbing structures and slides and the big kids are loving it. The place has food and beverages (including adult beverages) for you to kick back and relax while your kids scream their heads off. Food is decent if your kids need a snack, a little pricey tho but decent. Keeps kids busy and entertained for hours. The staff always seems to be friendly and helpful and wear masks which I appreciate.

We went to Lady Jaye on a Sunday morning for their brunch. I had heard about this restaurant from word of mouth and I wanted to try it out. My hubby and I came with another couple. The spot was cozy but also nice. Stringed lights, pretty plants...it was our first Covid outing and I appreciated being outside in what felt like somebody's nice backyard. This place has a really good cocktail menu. A nice bar in West Seattle. The drinks are amazing but the food is okay. We ordered the Strawberry Manilow and Holy Mountain. Each of these drinks was mind-blowing delicious. They do have a full-sized bar with a lot of rare or hard-to-find liquor as well. We ordered the chicken wings and were not impressed with it. Staff wears masks. There is room for social distancing. Parking on the street or the public lot outback. The bathroom was clean. Loads of seating, the staff is friendly, service is great. Highly recommend stopping by for drinks.

Some of the best views of Seattle are found here at Kerry Park. I would come here often to hang out with friends or family, walk around the neighborhood, or take photos. It’s a mini-park with incredible city views! It's truly an awesome place to come for tourists and locals. This lookout is the perfect spot for city skyline views, Mount Rainier, the harbor, downtown Seattle and the bay, you could stare at them all day.

My husband and I were looking for some escape from the daily hustle and bustle of a busy life. So we booked a two-night stay at Inn at the Market. We choose this Inn as it's close to our own home and it is different from others. The hotel checked all the boxes for Covid's safety and our room was very clean and comfortable. Our room overlooked the market and the sound of water was so peaceful and relaxing. The room was spacious and the showers are large and comfortable. The fun part is staying steps away from Pike Place! Our reservation came along with free valet parking and two $35 food vouchers for a few of the restaurants connected to the hotel. Treat yourself to a room at the inn. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Gym passes are temporarily suspended due to COVID. We will stay there again!

My experience with the SELC team is nurturing, educational and safe for my kids. My kids have been attending it for almost a year and they love it. We felt completely safe to start there with the covid precautions they had in place. They have amazing and caring staff. Both kids always seem happy when we drop them off and when they are picked up. They use Whale tail park and Alki beach as a playground (they have their own too). Kids play outside twice a day which is so good for them. My kids always look forward to a new science experiment, a craft lesson, or their favorite math group, and I'm always looking forward to listening to their experience about the day at SELC. We receive regular updates and pictures of daily happenings. They serve healthy and tasty meals for breakfast and lunch. Regina (the owner) is a wonderful person! She is very thoughtful and sensitive to our needs providing the best care! I highly recommend SELC!

I like thrift stores but often the price tags resemble dept. Stores or higher. But at Damascus, I’m surprised to see the prices. Reasonable prices and they always have sales going on so it is even cheaper when you added up. When I first came into this store I was struck by its cleanliness, organization, and how friendly and helpful the staff is. The owner is so nice. She gave my 3-month-old son a free 9 piece clothing set for Christmas as I went into her store for the 1st time. I feel comfortable there and had scored lots of brand new items for a few dollars. I bought a nice blue suit, jacket n pants for $30 only. I love this place. An amazing place. Will be going back!

I was shopping in Pike Place when I came across this beautiful attractive sock shop. As a mother of 2 kids, I'm always looking for good socks collection. When I entered the shop I was like Woww!! Here you can find every kind of sock imaginable. Many are cute, funny, touristy, and some are even sentimental. It's a relatively small store but they make the most out of their space and you can expect to find a lot here. Its location is excellent right by the Pike Place Market. They have very friendly customer service. They are following all covid precautions. Overall, Kinda pricey but very trendy so what else would you expect?

We stayed in Mayflower Park Hotel last month for 2 days. It's an amazing break for us and even with the pandemic restrictions still a gracious place to stay. The location was absolutely perfect. Only a walking distance to Pike Place and right next door to the monorail and light rail. The staff is friendly and accommodating - they handle COVID protocols well and we were very comfortable during our stay. Our room was very clean and sanitizers were placed everywhere. The Mayflower Park has historical architecture and vintage charm yet it is well-appointed with modern updates. The food from their service restaurant is amazing, all you have to do is to call and your request would be immediately addressed. The view from my room was breadth takingly awesome. Overall, a classy hotel with the best views and all the necessities a five-star hotel must have!

Excellent Harbor Cruise. This was a lot more fun than we expected. We did our online booking so we already had our cruise boarding passes for $36/person. The guide kept it fun, light but informative. Got to see how busy the harbor is, all the industries that are on the shoreline in addition to the natural scenery. The boat brought us close to the container ships and deep where they offload all the cargo. We saw Mt. Rainier, the Space Needle, and the Seattle Great Wheel. The bar was awesome too, it was fully stocked with snacks, adult beverages, and nonalcoholic drinks. The only complaint was the bar, it was on the second floor and the majority of people were on the 1st floor. It would have been nice to have a bar on both levels especially for those that have issues with stairs. Masks, sanitizers, and social distancing were perfectly maintained. Awesome view! Memorable pictures and a full fun-filled trip.

We visited Lark to celebrate our anniversary dinner. The ambiance was nice. We came around 6 pm when it was not extremely busy. We pre-booked our table on phone. They have a Lovely romantic setting with a terrific wine list and varied dining options. We ordered the house bread with smoked lardo, seared foie gras, Hamachi Crudo with fennel, Squid ink mantilla, Cocoa Canarese, and Chocolate madeleines for dessert. I enjoyed the squid ink mantilla. I loved the presentation and the lemon flavor made the mantilla less rich. Coca Canarese was decent considering it was my first time eating venison. The foie gras was okay, but the small chunks of cornbread in it tasted good. Overall, the dishes are carefully prepared and unusual, but a bit on the small side. They should increase their portions.
