Hiking the Lamar Valley, Where Bison, Wolves, and Bears Roam
Come join me hiking the spectacular Lamar Valley! The Lamar Valley is, without question, one of my favorite places on Earth. It is one of the few places where the west in its old form, as it would have appeared before the dramatic decline of North American wildlife, approaches its former condition. It's a place where you can hike and find bison, wolves, and grizzly bears on the same trail. The Lamar Valley isn't as visually spectacular as other places in Yellowstone National Park, but what it offers in wildlife and sheer history is in my opinion almost unparalleled in the rest of the country. If you ever get a chance, walk its trails in wonder, and you might be amazed by what you find. :) For more videos like this, please follow the channel here, and also check out the Wonderlust Adventures YouTube page! https://www.youtube.com/c/WonderlustAdventures
Hi everyone! :) My name is Tor Bertin, and for much of my life, I've had an immense fascination for the natural world and its inhabitants. This fascination has always driven me to share those feelings of wonder with other people. "Wonderlust" was the name I gave to that feeling. Here, I hope to bring to you improved understanding and appreciation for nature in its many forms across the world, and the human history that has existed in those places. I film my travels in a highly cinematic style, and with corresponding narration aim to both educate on the history of these places and inspire wonder for the astonishing aspects of the natural world. While here, and in your own journeys, wander in wonder.
