The American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Psychological Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry have all stated that gender-affirming care saves lives.

On 11-30-2023 the Janesville Police Department SWAT Team served a warrant in the 1300 block of MacArthur Dr. The Janesville Police Department received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. An investigation identified Timothy Eastman as the possible suspect possessing images of child pornography. Eastman was taken into custody without issue. During the search of the home, it was discovered Eastman had a gun under his pillow. Also, other evidence of the crime was recovered. Eastman was held at the Rock County Jail.

On November 17th, the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office received information that an adult male victim had scars and scabs on his torso that he received from his stepfather. The victim indicated that his stepfather had used a cattle prod on him, is allowed one meal per day, and has been forced to sleep outside at times. The victim also said that the day prior, his stepfather grabbed him around his neck and slammed him to the ground and began to curb-stomp him after trying to go into the residence to get gloves.
