William T

The Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation will be sponsoring the 10th annual Bristol Day Car Show on Saturday, October 16th from 10AM to 4PM. Once again, this special event will include classic and custom cars of all makes and models.

Last year's car show was affected and led to cancellation due to the restrictions imposed through Covid-19.

The 10th Annual Car show is now scheduled to reopen to the public again at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School at 450 Beaver Street.

First responders will get free registration for their vehicles, and normal registration will be $15.

This year's prizes will go out to 3 categories. Pre-1992, 1992-2022 and Best of Show. Winners will be decided through votes from attendees.

A Local Bristol Tradition

The Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation plans dozens of events every year for the public. One of the longest running events is the annual Bristol Historic Day.

Now in its 45th year, The Bristol Historic Day will be held on the same day as the Bristol Day Car Show.

You can expect several blocks of vendors selling the most interesting collectibles on this day itself.

Do some shopping first at one of the vendors first before heading down to vote for your favorite vehicle at the Bristol Day Car Show.

An Eclectic Display of American and Foreign Vehicles

Every year there is an amazing turnout at this car show. Participants show up with all kinds of vehicles.

The event organizers welcome all makes and models, this includes your local favorites such as Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros and Firebirds.

Public attendees will also get to chance to feast their eyes on classic pre-war restored Fords and Chevys.

Foreign vehicle owners will also be there on the day itself. Past competitions featured several BMWs and Volkswagens.

A Car Show for Bristol First Responders

Besides being hosted on Annual Bristol Historic Day, the Bristol Day Car Show is also set up to support and honour local first responders.

First responders who register their vehicle won't have to pay any registration fee. This is to encourage the entry of many police, military, fire or EMS vehicles.

On the day itself, there will be car engines and that rev their sirens for 2 minutes to honor the city and nation's servicemen.
