We Found Ruby and Sapphire Crystals While Rockhounding in North Carolina!

I haven't been to North Carolina in about 10 years, so it feels great to be back! Last time I was here, my Dad and I went shark tooth hunting in a creek near the coast. This go around my friend Derek and I headed further West in the state into the incredibly beautiful mountains, where no fossils are found, but some gorgeous gems and minerals can be located. In this video specifically we went to a place called Propst Farm, where you can pay to dig for the day in search of Ruby and Sapphire or "Corundum" crystals. This video consists of two days of digging, and honestly it is some of the hardest digging I've ever done! You really have to WORK for these crystals, but that makes it all the better when you finally locate them. Enjoy!
