We Found CRAZY Calcite Crystals and Sea Urchin Fossils While Exploring Caves and Canals in Florida!

In this video I teamed up with my buddy Bryan to go on the hunt for calcite crystals and fossil echinoids (sea urchins and sand dollars). The calcite at this particular location has unique shape and it forms within ancient caves in 45 million year old limestone! This prehistoric limestone also has some very well preserved sea urchin fossils. Along with this being an interesting crystal hunting and fossil hunting location, it's also just a beautiful place to get out and enjoy nature. To find calcite here you typically have to wait for it to fall from the tops of the small caves, so today's piece was a little bit unexpected, which made it even more fun to find! P.S. Yes, I know the thumbnail photo looks a little bit like friend chicken!
