Recovering History - I Found Two 100+ Year Old Coca-Cola Bottles in a Florida Creek!
Around the late 1800's and early 1900's small creek beds were often used as town dump sites. These waterways were unfortunately an easy place to dispose of trash easily back then. But luckily for treasure hunters like myself, we can go out to small creeks like this and find some incredibly unique and historic treasures. It's nice to know we're cleaning up piece by piece as we go hunting for these pieces of history as well. Every little bit helps! The Coca-Cola bottles I found in this video are called Straight-Side Cokes. These differ from the hobble-skirt style we see today. Straight-Side Coke bottles are dated to pre-1915. These are literally over 100 years old! Among these incredible Coca-Cola bottles were also all sorts of other cool bottles and bits of relics from the turn of the century. Hope y'all enjoy the video. Thank you for watching and reading!
