Surprises In Our Off Grid Garden | Homestead Vegetable Patch

Last year my peppers didn't do well until the very end of summer. This year I started them early in hopes of getting them sooner. It seems to have worked; I was surprised to see many hot and green peppers growing with many flower buds opening up. My granddaughter loves eating from the garden; she had to pull a carrot to taste. It was long and crunchy, just the way it should be. She was quite surprised to see that carrot come out of the ground. She shared it with our bunny, so cute. I have potato bugs or beetles, they are eating the leaves off the plants. I am slowly getting them picked off.
