Kubota L2501- Homestead Snow Clean-up

Kubota L2501- Homestead Snow Clean-up I used the Kubota with the snow pusher to clean up the driveway. Shoveling around the off-grid homestead and measuring the snow on the grill top for the grill report. Even a little bit of snow is bad for the hill on our road to the house. It's very steep, we try to keep it cleaned off so the sun can keep it melted. If not, it will ice up and be too slippery to drive up. The chickens, like the snow, cleaned up too. They eventually make a path all treaded down back and forth from coop to the outside. In negative temperatures, they stay locked up in a nice big run to keep them away from the cold wind. Hibernating sounds great in the winter, but there is still much to do when it snows. Back to shoveling!

We moved to this new off grid property to get into Modern Homesteading in January of 2016. We are living in rural Maine on 12 acres & have a small farm of chickens, raised bed & in ground garden. Sharing how we live off grid and use our Kubota L2501.
