An investigation is underway after a ride share driver was fatally shot in Lynwood early friday morning.
It all happened when deputies from LASD Century Station responded to the 2800 blk of East Imperial Hwy regarding a shooting just after 1:30am.
When deputies arrived they located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven.
LACoFD and paramedic responded to the scene and unfortunately pronounced the victim deceased.
After conducting a brief investigation, it was said that the driver, who worked for uber, was shot and killed by his passengers.
Two male suspects both fled the scene. It was said that one of the suspects took the victim's vehicle and later abandoned it.
The uber driver was said to be a father of 3 kids.
Deputies only stated they are searching for two males, black, and is still said to be armed and dangerous.
No other suspect description or information was released.
The victim's identity has not been released.
The motive for this tragic shooting is unknown and is actively under investigation by the LA County Sheriffs Department.
