A yucaipa man has been arrested after shooting at a residence and another vehicle in early February.
On February 3rd at approximately 6:51am, an unknown man parked infront of a victim's home on the 34400 blk of Wildwood Canyon Rd.
The suspect was reportedly in a red Ford Econo Van with white writing on the passenger side and a white fender over the front , passenger side tire.
As the victim exited their home, the suspect approached them while simultaneously loading a shotgun.
That's when the suspect suddenly opened fired on the victim, shooting 3 rounds at the victim's home and vehicle.
Gunshots damaged the victim's back windows of his vehicle and destroying the trunk, estimating to cost over $6,000 in damages.
Authorities identified the suspect as 53-year old Carlos Solorzano, a resident of Yucaipa.
On March 16th, Solorzano was located in a mobile home park in Calimesa. He was also in possession of a firearm, which was later identified to be the shotgun used in the shooting.
Solorzano was arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center and charged with Shooting at inhabited dwelling , and vandalism.
He remains on a $70,000 bail.
No injuries were reported.
