World's First Odditorium - A Review of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in St. Augustine, Florida
St. Augustine is known for its colonial history but is also home to the first Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium. In this video, we explore and review this museum. This site, originally a winter home for a wealthy Pennsylvanian and, at one time was considered one of the most notable private residences in the city. Ripley loved the property so much his estate purchased the building after his death in 1949. Inside the museum, visitors will see all sorts of exhibits displaying the weird, strange, and odd products of the human experience. We spent about two hours exploring all this location has to offer. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is located within walking distance to St. George Street but can also be easily accessed on either of the trolley tours that traverse the area. Ripley’s even operates the Red Train Tours. Be sure to explore their outdoor exhibits that complement the huge collection of oddities that fill the interior of the museum. This location also offers ghost tours.
