Florida's History Lights Up at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum
Florida is home to America's oldest city, St. Augustine. Showcasing this rich history are countless museums and cultural sites that allow visitors to step into the the past. The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum complex is one such spot. It's easy to get lost in the beauty, nostalgia, and connection to the sea that lighthouses represent and St. Augustine’s own historic lighthouse is a true gem with a rich history of its own. In this video, we showcase this magnificent maritime structure, climb to the top to see the panoramic views of St. Augustine and it’s surrounding areas. This site has been restored, along with the Keeper’s House and other historic structures, with each building containing separate parts of the facility’s ever-growing lineup of museum exhibits. Even after several visits to the site, we have found something new to explore with each trip.
