Art and Education Shine at Local Art Museum on the Campus of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida

The Cornell Fine Arts Museum is not unlike other college art museums in that it has a small collection that expresses big ideas for the sake of education. You don’t have to be a college student to enjoy the works found in this museum’s galleries which is one incredible aspect of experience at this facility. Their goal is to help all visitors leave with a better impression of art as a traditional means of communicating the human experience. The two of us enjoyed a couple of hours going through the collections on display during our visit. The museum isn’t large in size, although the pieces homed at this facility are pretty impressive and makes up for that with its traveling exhibitions that bring a more varied collection of art pieces into the Orlando area… even if it is just for a limited time. The core of the collection consists of over 700 paintings and over 2000 works on paper that includes prints, drawings, and photographs.
