Sylvan Lake Community Center to hold Sylvan Lake Garden Club monthly gathering on September 13

SYLVAN LAKE, MI - After success with the Sylvan Lake Garden Club - Ice Cream Social, The Sylvan Lake Community Center will hold another Garden Club event, its monthly gathering, next September. This monthly gathering will take place on Friday, September 17, 2021.

Established in 1939, The Sylvan Lake Garden Club is a group of Sylvan ake's residents who focused on horticultural activities. From the very beginning, this community has helped the city through planting in many places, such as on Garland Boulevard and the Memorial Park's development.

Succeed with its Annual Ice Cream Social event that took place on the previous Thursday, August 19, 2021, the members of this club will hold its monthly on the next Friday, September 17, 2021. This gathering will start at 12:30 p.m. Besides these two activities, the Sylvan Lake Community Garden also has several other interesting projects. The Monthly Work Days, usually done in the Memorial Park Gardens and carried out during April through October, in the morning. While the Perennial Plant Exchange and Sale is a twice-a-year event that usually takes place in early July and the middle of September. You can see this event behold at Memorial Park in July, and at Keego Harbor Gazebo in September.

Almost all event hosted by the Sylvan Lake Garden Club is about foods and planting. If you are interested in joining this club, you can join it any time. It cost $10, and you will have the access to all of the annual events; Annual Ice Cream Social, Monthly Work Days, Perennial Plant Exchange and Sale, and the Monthly Gathering.
