Stafford County police are asking for the public’s help to solve two Friday night robbery incidents that appear to have been committed by the same person.

Both incidents occurred on June 2. The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion who is approximately 6 feet tall. He has a slim build and curly, shoulder-length hair that’s dark brown.

Police were dispatched to Foxwood Drive at about 8:30 p.m. to address the first incident. The suspect reportedly pulled up behind a female who was walking. He jumped out the car, had a knife, and demanded her belongings. But according to police, she was able to run to get help without giving the suspect anything.

Less than 20 minutes later, a different deputy was dispatched to address an incident that occurred on Vista Woods Road. This time, a man was walking, a vehicle, approached from behind, and again, the driver got out with a knife and demanded the pedestrian’s phone. The victim complied this time, and the suspect got back in car and fled, according to police.

The car the suspect was seen in is a black, 4-door Chevrolet Cruz.

Anyone that has information is urged to call Stafford County detective B.A. Boyle at 540-658-4450.
