The Golden State Warriors had a roster spot to fill to get to the 14 player limit and they filled that open roster spot by signing Gary Payton II. According to reports, Payton could be available to play as early as Friday against the Washington Wizards. He hasn’t played in the NBA this season, but played well in the G League with the Raptors 905. Payton has played for three teams in his NBA career, including the Bucks, Lakers and Wizards.
