Chinatown's Peaceful & Zen Ping Tom Memorial Park in Chicago

A fantastic place to escape the noise and experience some peace and quiet is the "Ping Tom Memorial Park" in Chicago's Chinatown. This park is located right along the Chicago River and has a wonderful infusion of Chinese culture and architecture with the surrounding nature. For example, the park's pavilion is a sizeable pagoda structure overlooking the river. There are nice paths to stroll around, including a bit of a boardwalk with the red Chinese-styled railing. There are also gorgeous Asian themed murals underneath the bridge. Be sure to check out my other Chinatown content and videos!
