Hiking to the Summit of Mount Grant on San Juan Island, Washington

Washington, in my opinion, is one of the best states for hiking in the country. While there are coastal hikes, snow-covered mountains, and even volcanoes to hike, the hikes available in the "San Juan Island" archipelago are truly unique. I found this out first hand when hiking "Mount Grant" on San Juan Island. The island itself has a variety of different scenery including prairies, cliffs, mossy forests, and mountains. This hike showcases a lot of these different scenarios as you trek through these mossy forests and eventually get open views. The views consist of the surrounding islands, mountains, and even much of the prairie land and coasts of the island.
