Best Hikes in Michigan - Aqua Blue Lake and Chapel Rock at Pictured Rocks

This hike is a continuation of the one that began at the "Chapel Basin" parking lot and led to "Chapel Falls" in the previous video. From the waterfall, we hiked further through the forest which eventually led us to the shore of Lake Superior. With the late morning sun shining brightly, the Lake was a brilliant aqua blue color that was reminiscent of a tropical ocean. The trail also abruptly lead to one of the most fascinating things you can see at Pictured Rocks, "Chapel Rock" - a massive rock formation with one pine tree growing proudly out of it. The views here are phenomenal and you can see people kayaking or taking boats out in Lake Superior. This hike has much more beauty to offer, which we will be showing you in the next episode!
