Best Hikes in Michigan | Upper Peninsula Lake Superior 12 Mile Beach

This is a continuation of the hike that started off from "Little Beaver Lake Campground" and now leads us to the neverending appropriately named "12 Mile Beach". The hike to this beach is absolutely stunning with forests, streams rock formations, and more along the way. However, this beach is definitely the best sight this far. The sand is super soft and a beautiful white color and the shoreline is littered with colorful smooth stones. Behind you lies the wild forest that you exited from, and it feels like you've been transported to a world far away from anything you would expect in Michigan. Check out the next episode for my favorite sight that we saw along this trail!
