The BEST Denver Hikes | Elk Falls
When people think about hiking near Denver, their minds quickly go to destinations such as Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Red Rocks, and other well-known destinations. Stauton State Park is by no means "unknown", but it is often overlooked as an amazing hiking destination only 45 MINUTES AWAY from Denver! This is by far the best waterfall hike located close to Denver with amazing open views, bodies of water, quiet forests, and much more! Just be warned - your feet will definitely be sore after 15 miles of hiking out and back!
