Challenge Yourself with a Hike to Picacho Peak

Today we're sharing the challenging but rewarding hike up to Picacho Peak in southern Arizona. We hiked to the top via Hunter Trail, which was 3 miles roundtrip with an elevation gain around 2000'. We recommend doing this hike in moderate temperatures (in the winter, or early morning hours) and bringing at minimum 2L of water per person. Gloves are also highly recommended for the sections with cables.
