With gorgeous state-of-the-art equipment and a range of medical and wellness experts, beautiful skincare brands, and a wellness menu that addresses skin health as well as emotional wellness, Asaya Hong Kong has become the flagship of Rosewood’s spa and wellness brand. Moving its headquarters from Asaya Phuket to Hong Kong.
URBAN WELLNESS HAVEN
Located inside pet-friendly Rosewood Hong Kong hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui’s Victoria Dockside, the spacious Asaya spans two floors of indoor and outdoor space across 40,000 square feet.
Stocked with a conscious Asaya gallery of one-off merchandise, the greeting area is a beautiful designer showroom, which seamlessly leads you into a stunning atelier, spa lounge, spa treatment rooms, bath houses with ozonated pools, chill pods and laconiums inspired by Roman bathing culture. Make sure to schedule enough time before or after your treatment to enjoy the gorgeous facilities. Also, each Urban Sanctuary Suite comes with its own heated marble bath house with rain showers, soaking tub, and a private garden terrace.
The beautiful interior design, featuring marble, glass and wood, matched with the harmonious layout, makes for an easy and tranquil flow, as the space continuously leads you into the next area, such as the fitness centre, Asaya Kitchen, and the outdoor infinity pool where guests can take in sweeping views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong’s skyline.
Rest assured that overnight rooms within Asaya are already set to launch in 2020, but for now, guests will have to check into Rosewood Hong Kong.
No matter where you are at in your wellness journey, Asaya’s wellness programs are here to offer guidance and support, so you can achieve greater balance and self-awareness. Focusing on skin health, physical treatments, fitness and movement, nutrition and emotional balance, Asaya offers an extensive range of beauty treatments (including 3D skin analysis, Botox, fillers and platelet-rich plasma injections), massages and facials, as well as holistic sessions, such as naturopathy, energy healing, meditation and mindfulness, Traditional Chinese Medicine, coaching, expressive arts, etc.
The Asaya One Day Wellness Program is a great place to start and recharge in the city. It includes meals by Asaya Kitchen, full access to the gym, pool and bath houses, along with a one-on-one naturopathic doctor consultation, a one-on-one with an expert trainer, a guided personal discovery session, a deep tissue body therapy session, and much more.
Further wellness programs include Cleanse, Balance, Body Fit, Executive Coaching, Unplug, Greater Awareness, Asaya Growing Together (Couples or Family), and Wellness for Kids.
Guests can book individual treatments, but it’s the signature retreat programs, along with the Asaya memberships that offer the biggest health benefits, allowing you to come for an assessment and then follow a customized treatment plan to treat ailments, but also to prevent them.
The beautiful light-filled restaurant makes up a big part of Rosewood Hong Kong’s Asaya wellness concept. Serving up healthy and seasonal plant-based and seafood dishes, Asaya Kitchen is an ideal lunch spot, even if you aren’t spending time at the spa. The nourishing menu, which is designed by Chef Renaud Marin (ex Cochin), features light Mediterranean- and Japanese-inspired courses, using raw, sprouted, and fermented organic ingredients.
Start with the Pandan Coconut Cooler, a refreshing drink and an absolute must-try! Then opt for some dried yellowfin tuna (ask Chef Renaud, as it’s not on the menu) and the Cuttlefish Salad. We also particularly liked the Sea Bream Carpaccio and the Grilled Kai Lan.
The healthy fare can be accompanied by freshly pressed juices, or light-bodied and biodynamic wines.
Try a drink at the outdoor bar and lounge poolside, sipping your healthy cocktail while taking in the mesmerizing views of the city’s harbour.
